On May 12, Erickson Elementary Arts Integration Specialist Isobel Suhm hosted the school’s fourth annual Spring OMA Showcase. Students from every grade level got to have at least three pieces of artwork throughout the gallery. Each piece demonstrated strong integration from several core curriculum subjects, such as math, ELA, and science. The event also featured an enchanted forest black light glow gallery, creating a magical and immersive art experience for everyone. In addition to viewing artwork, students had the opportunity to perform songs with their classes while family, friends, and community members came together to celebrate creativity, self-expression, and the arts.
