Dear Erickson Families,

Welcome to the 2022 – 2023 school year! Whether you have been a part of our Erickson community for years, or you are new to our school this year, we welcome you and are so happy you are here. We know you have choices in your child’s education, and we look forward to providing a year full of academic achievement and positive school experiences.

Our first event of the school year will be on Wednesday, August 3, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM for Meet the Teacher. Please stop by between 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM to find your classroom, meet your teacher, and find where you will be lining up on the first day of school. We also know that the first day of school is a special event. You are welcome to walk your child to their class line on the field and wait with them there. You can say good-bye and wave as they walk in with their teacher from the field at 8:00 AM. Please do not follow your child into the classroom.

We appreciate your patience and support as we start this school year. We understand there are feelings of concern and excitement as we start this new school year in-person. The safety of our families and staff remains a priority. Throughout the school year we will be communicating through email and phone calls. Please make sure your email address and phone number are up to date at all times. We welcome your participation and look forward to partnering with parents and families in our PTO, School Site Council, Open House (August 16), Conferences (September 14-16), and Family Nights throughout this school year. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Erickson. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Respectfully,

Rachel Romero, Principal
